Fab 5 Beauty Finds | November

#1    Charlotte Tilbury Modern-Matte Lipstick

I have become a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury products and this lipstick is another reason why. It’s beautiful!  I started with the color “Pillow Talk” but just recently fell in love with “Bond Girl” which (in my opinion) is the perfect medium colored lip hue for the fall/winter. The matte is creamy, build-able and does not dry out my lips. My favorite part about the relatively long wearing lipstick is that the color fades sooo nicely, not crusty or patchy at all. Highly recommend!

#2    ORIBE Crème for Style

I’m being completely honest, I didn’t like this product when I first used it. Randomly, I was getting a blow out and the stylist whips it out, before she used it I explained my hesitancy. She quickly responded that most of the time with ‘Creme for Style’ there is a bit of user error. I too wasn’t using the product correctly (ahhhhh!)

Bottom line: you don’t need much product, at all. A pea size amount will add smooth texture and volume without making hair hard or weighed down. I love applying it to the hairline around my face and at my roots throughout. The formula has magnesium which gives it memory. This allows for a hold that is steadfast but still soft. It also cuts the frizz which helps keep my hair looking polished. And it has a fabulous smell which is always a plus!

#3    One Love Organics Brand New Day

Fresh faced and ready to take on the day! Brand New Day Microderma Scrub and Masque is a must have for the medicine cabinet. This little powder contains sweet pea flour, pineapple enzymes and mineral rich kaolin clay to remove impurities and make your skin super soft. Pour a little powder in your palm and add a few drops of water, mix around and apply all over the face in circular motions if you want to use it as a scrub. You can also pull all the gunk out of your pores by mixing the powder and water and applying it as a masque. Let it dry completely then wash it off. Using it as a scrub twice a week and a masque once a week has worked out great for me.

#4    R+Co High Dive Moisture and Shine Cream

Katy here! So, I just chopped my hair which is why my next two products are pertaining to hair. I am convinced that my hair is fine and limp because it is mad at me for all the over processing. I color my hair and use heat styling so it tends to be on the dry, frizzy side. This little cream adds great moisture and heat styling protection to my hair without weighing it down. I apply it from the mid to ends of my damp hair before blow drying. I am a huge fan of this product and can’t wait to try out other items from this line!

#5    ORIBE Maximista Thickening Spray

I’m not sure how long this product has been out, but I wish I knew about it since whenever that day was. I (Katy) am always struggling to add volume to my hair without it ending up sticky or stiff. I have tried so many products out there, many of them turning my hair into a shield, envision Peggy Bundy. This product allows my hair to maintain the volume and feel weightless all at the same time. Bravo, Oribe scientists, bravo!
