Hotel Talk...

First off, they nailed the entrance with this mega hipster permanent hashtag accompanied by a sick view. I (along with all guests checking-in) fell right into the trap and started taking pictures immediately. Within the first 5 minutes I can say The Cape Hotel had lured me in.

Upon arrival to our hotel room we were warmly greeted with complementary chocolate and bottle of tequila. Now I am putty in their hands, Cape Hotel - 2, Katy - 0.

The hotel had an amazing view, gorgeous rooms, infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and an uber rad lobby bar. What else do you need? Oh yeah, maybe some food! We stuffed our faces with room service and it was amazing (see pics below.) I had already lost control and dug into the pancakes before I realized I should snap a pic. My bad!

Outfit Talk...

All of the items are listed in the widget below and I even put some alternate colors in there in case you want to switch anything up.I started off the trip super happy because I managed to find a jumpsuit that felt like pajamas but looked pretty hot. Winner! I rocked my Amaio Swim bikini and one piece, because I just can't quit them. Another summer purchase was this Ale by Alessandra white bikini which went perfect with this insane new Meghan Fabulous skirt. The high-low skirt gives you that goddess feeling as it blows in the wind as you walk. For a second I thought, "This must be how those supermodels feel when someone holds a fan up so their hair blows all sex-kitteny." Pummeled by a wave, back to reality.Other summer obsessions for me are anything off the shoulder. It shows off your bronzed vacation shoulders and helps minimize those tan lines. You can catch me all summer in these denim shorts as well, they fit so amazing without pinching or squeezing. Who can I send a thank you note at One Teaspoon for inventing these?

Shameless Selfies...

They had this perfect, ginormous mercury mirror on the bottom floor near the pool for all your shameless selfie needs. I embarrassed my husband but at least I got some full outfit pics.
