The Best $40 I've Ever Spent

I bet you would NEVER guess I was talking about a jewelry cleaner.Sounds pretty anticlimactic, right? This little oval gadget has been solely responsible for keeping my bling, well, blingy. Yes, hubby you get credit too for picking out the perfect jewels to begin with, thank you xoxo. I do get asked quite often if my ring is new because it's so sparkly. The ring isn't that new, but I do pop it in the Magnasonic Professional Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner about 2-3 times a month. This cleaner is specifically for jewelry, watches, and eyeglasses and it works by generating ultrasonic sound waves that keep your items looking brand new. I've had mine for over two years now and it hasn't skipped a beat. Note! When cleaning my jewelry I add a splash of Blitz Gem & Jewelry Cleaner Concentrate , which can be found on Amazon for less than $6 for an 8oz. bottle.I've given this set as a gift before and although it may seem random, I still get comments saying what a great gift it was to receive. It would be perfect to give to someone that is newly engaged, or to a friend that always has a grimy ring ;)Thinking outside the box, I began using the Magnasoinc Cleaner for my makeup Beauty Blenders.  This time, I added a drizzle of Dr. Bronner's liquid soap. We use that soap in our household (can also be found on Amazon!) and I figured it would be gentle enough on my face. Please make sure you use a mild soap if you try it with your makeup applicators so that you don't end up with a bad break out or rash.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDjQxeCeLyU[/embed]Once I had success with the Beauty Blenders I gave it a go with my makeup brushes. I had great results again! Not to mention, I conserved so much water AND time becasuse I didn't have to scrub each one individually. All I had to do was rinse the brushes under clean, running water after and set them on a fresh, dry towel. Here are the brushes before and after, ewwww look at that murky water!

I wouldn't recommend cleaning any costume jewelry in this machine as I've never tested it, and it may cause permanent damage. It's also recommended that you go to your jeweler and have them check the stones yearly because they can become wiggly over time.I've been on the hunt to see what else I can pop in next, do you have any ideas? I would love to hear them!If you have time we would feel so loved if you subscribe to our YouTube channel. If you click on the video above, it will take you there.

Katy
